Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - The Northern Region of Pan Trinbago Inc. will be holding two events during the month of July. The first is carded for Friday July 11th at the Food Court, Queen’s Park Savannah in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad.
“Pan on the Food Court” is the second in the initiative to provide steelpan music to patrons at the Savannah Food Court as they savor the various “street foods.” Entertainment will be provided by Scorpion Pan Reflection and Pandemonium Steel Orchestras between 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Admission is free.
The other is the Annual 1 2 3 Plus Concert. This activity is carded for Friday July 18th at the Phase II Pan Groove Theatre, Hamilton Holder Street, Woodbrook. Featured steel orchestras include Desperadoes, Renegades and host band Phase II. Admission is TT $50.00. Patrons are asked to “bring their coolers.”
These events, in addition to being fund-raisers, are being organized to bring audiences to hear the music in activities not usually associated with steel orchestras.
