Miss Kimberli St. Clair was born and raised in Tunapuna, Trinidad & Tobago. She is currently in her third year at the College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago pursuing a Bachelor in both Music Education and Steelpan Performance. She comes from a family of 5, being the oldest of three girls.

As the CEO of Musical Ventures Institute of Learning, Miss Kimberli St. Clair is both industrious in the managing of her institution and committed to her profession as a music teacher. She started this business two years ago after many years of prior education in Music. With eight years of experience in the teaching  field, she continues to have a success rate of 100% in merits and distinctions only. Miss Kimberli St. Clair is quite the “Jack of All Trades” having worked with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Legal Affairs and Republic Bank. This lovely lady has only 24 years of age as of November 16th, 2018.

Prior to owning this business, Kimberli attended St. Joseph Girls’ R.C. from 1999 to 2006 where she began learning music from the tender age of 5. She participated in sports and music while maintaining her academic successes. From 2006 to 2011, she attended Bishop Anstey High School, participating in the schools’ choir and still pursuing her private music exams.

In 2007, she was encouraged to visit the birdsong Academy to learn her country’s national instrument, the Steelpan. She quickly moved up the ranks in this institution as she had prior knowledge of music privately. She attained nine CXC O’ Levels in 2011 with Distinctions in Mathematics and English Language, a One in Music and 6 Twos. By this time, she had been a part-time tutor at birdsong Academy since 2009 with her amazing success rate.

In 2011 she went on to do her A’ Level Examinations at El Dorado East Secondary, where she joined their steel band and was asked in her final year there to arrange their Panorama tune.  The band was entered into the 2013 Junior Panorama competition and placed 2nd.  Kimberli was the youngest arranger in the competition and the most successful of the few females to enter. She graduated most outstanding in Music and finished her A’ Level studies with successes in Pure Mathematics, Information Technology, Accounting, Caribbean and Communication Studies.

She joined the Dinsley/Trincity Police Youth club in 2011 and was asked to be their Musical Director in 2012 due to her charisma with the kids and her extensive qualifications at 18 years of age.  She currently holds Certificates from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music ranging from grades 1-7 in both Music Theory and Piano Practical Examinations. The kids had their successful performance at the youth club conference in Centre of Excellence after only two months of instruction from Miss St. Clair.

Between 2010 and 2015, Kimberli has been to Canada numerous times working with a band by the name of Hamilton Youth Steel Orchestra. She arranges for them year round and has just recently returned from touring with them in Japan. She is a dedicated member of Supernovas Steel Orchestra, which she has also toured with in Haiti and Antigua.

Her most recent accomplishment has been acquiring a relationship with the Tunapuna All Stars Steel Orchestra for the National Panorama Competition since 2015.
