Finals Order of Appearance for Small Steel Orchestras - Trinidad & Tobago National Steelband Panorama 2016

Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. -  It’s Final Night time at last for the ten small conventional steel orchestras vying for championship glory in their category in the 2016 National Panorama competition.   Together with the Single Pan Bands, the ten bands will take the stage at Skinner Park in San Fernando, south Trinidad on the evening of Thursday February 4.  Defending small steelband champs Arima Golden Symphony are taking the stage in position number two out of the ten competitors.  The draw for positions took place live on local television during one of Trinidad & Tobago's morning programs.

After weeks of practice for many, the journey to this point started out with preliminary competitions held January 15–18 among fifty-one bands in total, hailing from the four respective regions of East, North, South/Central and Tobago.  Twenty of those orchestras moved on to the semi-finals, where an additional ten were eliminated in preparation for the much-anticipated final night musical joust for the title.
