Founded in 1980: The band is a merger of two bands from the community of San Juan – Marsicans and Finland. The name is taken from the Zimbabwean word “Pamberi” which means “Forward.”  We have adopted that as our motto.

The composition of Pamberi Stage-Side – Thirty members function year-round to carry out the annual programme. The average age of the membership is below twenty years old. The activities of this group include:

  • Practice Sessions and Performances (local, regional and international)
  • Organization and Planning of activities
  • Participation in Meetings and informal discussions
  • Music training for individual development • Participate in the Youth Programmes as Tutors
  • Represent the band at various activities/functions
  • Portray the image of the band in a positive manner The Road-Side or Panorama Band – One hundred players
  • Every day practice for more than a month • Comprised of alumni players, junior groove graduates and others
  • Each section multiplies by about four during this period
