Grenada,

-
Eight of Grenada’s top steel orchestras
vied for the coveted
“Bomb

In this
hotly
contested
event
that
unfolded
Friday
July 1 at the Tanteen
Netball
Court in
the
country’s
capital
of St.
George’s, a
meager
half of
a point
separated
the
eventual
winners
New
Dimension
Steel
Orchestra
- with a
score of
268
points
- from its
closest
rival
Angel
Harps
Steel
Orchestra who
garnered
a score
of 267.5.
Angel
Harps
were the
defending
“Bomb
Tune”
champions. Using a
three-judge
system,
the
maximum
possible
score
achievable
was 300
points.
